Had a great experience here. We didn't have a reservation and they were able to seat us on a Thursday night pretty easily. The... prices are above average, but the quality and service seem on par with most premier steak houses. I had prime rib and my wifehad salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly. This was the first time I’ve ever been to this place and I can honestly say it was ????! The food is absolutely amazing in my... opinion. It has an old elegance feel to it when you walk in. The booths are tufted backs, hardwood tables and chairs. Beautifuldecor. The wait staff incredibly friendly and gave us our privacy and peace throughout dinner and knew when to check up on uswithout interrupting. She was knowledgeable about the food on the menu and answered all of our questions. She also let us knowthat the menus change daily and everything is fresh. The food portions are generous and not small sized like some other fancyrestaurants. You legitimately get what you are paying for here. I ordered the salmon entree for example and got a beautifullycooked, generous size of salmon with couscous and it was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. My husband and I will beback for sure. We hope the chef there, Brian, will continue to wow all his customers with his amazing dishes! My husband and I went to Peninsula Prime for the first time this past Saturday. He ordered the steak and mashed potatoes and I... ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The food was excellent. We recently moved into the Cornelius area and have been searching for great food locally. We’ve tried various places like... Kindred, Barrel and Fork, and some restaurants in Birkdale Village. A few months ago for the first visit to Peninsula Prime, weate in a booth with our family. We had prime rib, scallops, sea bass, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the deliciously cookedmeal. My wife and I visited again early Friday evening, and we sat in the bar area by the fire. We enjoyed the bread basketwith some excellent wines by the glass. We ordered caesar salads, a NY strip, and a seafood pasta. The food was fantastic, theservice was excellent, and the atmosphere by the fire near the bar area couldn’t have been any better. We will be tryingrestaurants in downtown Charlotte for sure, but Peninsula Prime is our local favorite so far, and we will absolutely bereturning. Read more
