The food was extremely good. The atmosphere was...meh. The staff was pretty rude to be honest. We got a strong vibe that we... were lucky to be there and that the employees were better than us. It was odd. Also, they didn't refill drinks, didn't checkback with us. For a place with only about 10 tables, it seems like the service would be better. The chef is great though andthe food is very authentic Italian. If you temper your expectations about the dining experience, the food can be worth thetrip. Read more
This place was delicious! Ended up getting a table on our last night at OBX for party of 6. First we got free homemade bread... which was delicious!! The kitchen was able to accommodate some members of our party who were vegan/vegetarian as well with avegan ravioli and salads. We tried the butternut squash bisque but asked for it without lobster and it was still some of thebest soup I?ve ever had. Entrees were delicious as well. Amazing experience all around! The food was top notch and the service was beyond top tier. The food times are a usual complaint... I see on reviews here, but as someone who eats out and goes to higher end places food times are usually 45-1hr for freshly madefood. Whenever my food comes out too quickly it?s usually not the best or top quality. This place does it right that?s reallyall I can say. If you are in town def make sure you get here and get here early! We had the pleasure of dining at La Dolce Vita in Obx this evening. We have frequented the area for 20+ years and this may have... been the best dining experience we have ever had. Victor was so wonderful and fun as he served our table. Every other staffmember that helped bring over our food and beverages was so polite and friendly. The food was phenomenal! I can?t recommend thepizza enough and my mom had the best lobster ravioli. I HIGHLY recommend the pineapple margarita. As a bartender I can contestthat it is a drink you will remember for ages! It?s smooth and boozy without being overly sweet or too tequila forward. All inall, from the front of house to the back, 10 out of 10 stars from us. I can?t wait to go back. Read more
