Fresh and beautifully presented. The vegetable quiche was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. White sangria paired with the... quiche wonderfully. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting for lunch than the Sherman Gardens. ???? Read more
Perfect garden side lunch. Five star service, food and ambiance. Had the sea bass with risotto, which was divine.
Poor substandard service with extremely long wait for everything including being seated late when we were on time for our... reservation, waiting at least 20 minutes for someone to take our order, another 50 minutes to get our food (and one order nevercame even though I asked the waitress with curly hair twice for it), and I had to ask three staff to bring me a container andtwo staff for a bag. The same waitress with curly hair gave me another person?s check so I had to ask other staff for oursbecause she seemed to be ignoring me. Finally, different staff came to get my credit card for payment and he returned it byplopping it down quickly on the table without a word and left; he failed to bring me a pen to sign the receipt. I had to get upand go to the check-in stand to borrow a pen to sign the receipt, I had asked him for a bag but he did not bring it either.Lunch was an unpleasant two-hour experience at Dahlia in the Sherman Library & Gardens. What could be more delightful than eating in a beautiful garden food that has been grown in that garden? The service was... excellent: friendly, but not overly so. Just the right amount of attentiveness by both the receptionist and our waitress,Savanna. The healthy, interesting menu options made our decisions difficult. We loved the food , delicious fresh produce. Beautifully I prepared and arranged. The Scones are to die for. Really really... delicious. For my likens it was a little too crammed and tight today. We were offered a table right where everyone walks in andit felt uncomfortable, nicely we were offered a different table to the side. But also here: People were walking in and outconstantly brushing by the chair. tables are a little low so eating was a bit difficult. I would be so much nicer to just have atable less and more space. We came in season change, so most of the planting is being redone at the Gardens at the moment. Butnone of these things made our experience not worth it. Definitely a beautiful place to enjoy!!!
