We love Mama D?s! We live out of state and come to California yearly. Mama D?s is a must stop for us every time. The food is... delicious. I dream of the pink sauce. While the food is top notch, what sets the mama d?s dining experience apart it the topnotch customer service. Best customer service of any restaurant I have eaten at. First time there and quality of service and food is an automatic 4 stars. Service starts with fresh baked bread and garlic olive... oil for dipping. We then had the stuffed eggplant and pasta primavera with a side of meatballs. Everything tasted fresh and youcan customize your dish pretty much how you want with the choices they have available. Dessert was tiramisu and that was theonly thing that we felt could've been better; a little on the dry side but the flavor was still very good. All in all, a greatexperience. I drive far to get Mama D?s pizza. So delicious and the calamari too. It?s fun to eat there. Weekends it?s busy.
Food was good, unfortunately under staffed so our waiter forgot some of our items. He ended up comping them. Was super... satisfied that they did that. Great place to eat though, very quaint for a date. Read more
