This place was excellent and the service by Patrick blew me away. He was more than thorough with the menu, he was a walking... encyclopedia. Very accommodating, splendid demeanor, and attentive. He even offered to replace my lobster bisque since it cameout way before my friend's dish--I declined, and although it was cold by the time I ate it, it was still delectable with plentyof lobster chunks rather than mere bits like most places. My friend said her steak was cooked to perfection, and Patrick wasvery knowledgeable with the questions he asked in terms of the cut and temperature she preferred. Apparently the horseradish issomething to behold as well! The cocktails are very fun, reasonably priced for the location and atmosphere. And you can't beatthose views of the tide coming into the sand as boats pass while locals picnic on the grass. We were privileged with abreathtaking sunset you can only get in San Diego. My one and only complaint is that although they knew it was my friend'sbirthday, they did not provide a complimentary dessert as I thought was pretty customary for restaurants. Granted, she hasCeliac disease (yes, legitimately), so there is unfortunately not a lot suitable for this on their dessert menu--Patrickrecommended scraping off the crust, but this regrettably is not an option for people with the disease as it risks contamination,so I am going to chalk this up to being less of an oversight and more of a safety precaution they decided to do by avoiding abday dessert altogether. I am not sure if they had ice cream or something they could have just served with a candle, but myfriend felt a bit dejected. My suggestion would be to communicate these concerns rather than having her feel left out forsomething she can't control. Still 5 stars, though I would say 4 1/2 if that were possible on here. Again, top serviceotherwise and the establishment is beautiful. We will still be back! Read more

This place really isn't bad. There's a great view if you face outside. The food isn't the level you'd expect for what you're... paying. I'd say it's more on the line of a tourist trap. The service was a bit odd that our server said she was playing tag withanother one and then we had a pretty long wait after the initial drinks before we could order. Read more

It’s seems like people either have a great experience or a not so go experience. Our lunch was great. 30min wait to seat due... to short staff. We sat on the patio for the city view. The waiter was great. The food was great. We ordered a bowl of lobsterbisque, the shrimp Cobb salad, and a couple burgers. The lobster in the bisque was fresh and not precooked. The salad was great. The burgers were also good. The avocado was virtually whole halves inside the burger. Overall a great experience. We willdefinitely come back when in town. Read more

Dining with a beautiful view of the San Diego Bay. Elegant and variety of tasty dishes. Cocktails are a must too. Service is... good. Dine outside for a beautiful experience, or sit inside where it looks like an aquatic attraction. Hidden jem in Coronadoisland. You can even ride the ferry from downtown and just a very short walk from the Coronado ferry center. Read more
