My husband and I chose to eat here for our little date night!!! By far the best experience in a long time . Our food came out... really fresh and in a timely manner !!!!! The food, the service, the atmosphere were all great. From walking in to sitting down, the speed of service and the very helpful... server, Alicia. She didn't try to rush us made perfect recommendations. She was always polite and kept making sure we were goodwith everything. She would make sure that when we were ready for another round of shrimp, that we always got it fast and pipinghot. Would definitely go back again and again if we could have servers like Alicia. Alicia was amazing! I came in with low blood sugar and she immediately got me a coke and some bread to help get my sugar levels... up quickly. She was so busy but we felt like her only table. Even after my blood sugar had stabilized, she continued to makesure that I was OK physically. The rest of our experience was superb! I love the cheddar bay biscuits. I had a salad theblackened chicken linguine. Everything came out hot and fresh just like it was supposed to. My mom had the stuffed mushrooms andthe Maine Plate at Alicia's suggestion and her recommendations were right on the money! I had my mom and kids with me and shemade us feel like family. She talked to my kids and even got my shy, special needs son to come out of his shell. He even gaveher a hug! He never hugs anyone. The kids were happy and she entertained them so I could have hot food. I don't eat seafood butmy mom loves it. I'll keep going back just for Alicia. My family loved her and I loved her. The pasta was yummy but good serviceis what will keep us coming back and asking for her. I waited tables for 20 years and I'm extremely picky about service. This is the worst chain ever and the wait is very long. The plates and cutlery were very dirty and even had food residue on... them. The black waiter (I'm not racist, I just can't remember the waiter's name, she was the only black waiter of the day) waspretty perfunctory, she was accustomed to food leftovers and was arrogant. Told us there was a party in the store so we had towait a long time. In the end we waited almost 45 minutes and she took it for granted. The butter garlic rolls are to die for. The margarita wasn't very good, but the sprite and root beer were good. We had Oysters... on the 1/2 shell served with cocktail sauce, horseradish and lemon. Oysters were fresh and delicious. I ordered the lobster,scallops, fried shrimp and sautéed shrimp, with rice pilaf and a loaded baked potato. Every was fresh and delicious.
