If you're living on the Southside of Corpus, and are looking for a decently priced taco, this is your place to go! I come here... all the time, and my tacos are always made right every time. I never once had a bad experience with this restaurant. Thedrive-thru is always fast! The longest I've been in the drive-thru, is around 20 minutes, no more, no less. DO not let the owner?s reply fool you. It?s merely a shell game with the restaurant?s name. Taqueria Mi Pueblo and Mi Pueblo... Taqueria are one in the same. The pictures of the restaurant don?t lie, but the owner does! DO NOT expect a refund when youare not served what you ordered! This morning my wife and I took my dad to Taqueria Mi Pueblo for father?s day. My wife isdiabetic and told the server (Wendy) at least 4 times that she would need sugar free syrup with her pancakes that she wasordering. My wife waited so long for sugar free syrup that her meal got cold. Wendy returned to the table and said they areout of sugar free syrup so my wife did not eat her meal. When I told the cashier that we should not have to pay for my wife?smeal since they didn?t have sugar free syrup and my wife didn?t eat it, this punk kid behind the counter had the nerve to tellme that it was our responsibility to make sure they had sugar free syrup before ordering pancakes and he refused to remove mywife?s order from the bill! I told the cashier, who know?s we are regulars by the way, that this isn?t the first time we haveordered pancakes with sugar free syrup from this place and it is the responsibility of the restaurant to make sure they arestocked with their product. I agreed to pay the bill but they would lose us as loyal customers and the cashier didn?t care aslong as we paid. It was such a shame since Before ordering I was telling my wife how I couldn?t remember having a badexperience with the food at this restaurant. I paid the bill, took my wife?s meal home with us, and will NEVER return to thisrestaurant. My wife did not get to eat the meal she ordered so the way I see it they stole $ from us and may have done the sameto many others so I?m considering reporting them to the BBB. Read more
Service was slow due to her wanting to eat her pan dulce she was brought. The Chorizo&Egg taco was dry. The Tripas were almost... like chicharon. The waffles still had Ice on them and the sauage circles and sunny side up eggs still needed to be cookedthroughly. The ONLY good part was the strawberry banana milkshake....
