Sad to learn this place is ending in October. By far the best place I at on my travels across Washington. Washington was a bit... of an food desert for quality eats and it needs more places like this! Great service too with a lot of small touches. Read more

This food was AMAZING. It?s definitely an experience and really recommend you make a reservation. My husband and I went to try... it and celebrate, and I am so happy we did! The food was delicious you can tell there is thought and passion put behind it.After every course there was a small complimentary pallet cleanser or bite! the ceviche was to die for and the main entrees wereso good! I got the salmon my husband got the steak and so good! Every single item on your plate complimented one anothertremendously. Every bite you took was full of flavor and almost a warmth of happiness! We ate at the restaurant after receiving $100 gift card as a thank you from my old manager before leaving the company. Living... on the island it's been on my list for awhile. So, we went with a couple friends for an evening treat. Happily paid the $567bill. However, moments after paying was asked to leave so they could reset the table for the next guest. I was shocked afterspending that kind of money to be asked to move along....... That's a first and won't be back. The bread is amazing the foodwas ok...... Not worth the anticipation. Go to Gordon's in Freeland..... Better food and service.... Read more

This is the best restaurant you'll visit on Whidbey, and even in the surrounding areas. The food is some of the most creative... and delicious that I've had in years. They source a great deal of their menu locally (they have a list of all the local farms intheir menu). The Brussels sprouts were caramelized goodness, the oysters were delicate and flavorful, the grilled bread withchevre was sublime, and even the palate cleanser (grapefruit ice with olive oil drizzle) was a standout. The friendly and funservice (Aaron and Jeanie in particular) made it even better. Why 4 stars then? There is not one vegetarian option for the mainentree. Not one. When we asked, we were told that we could order a larger plate of gnocchi. So, to the chef and manager I'd say:you already have a brilliance to your work: please bring that creativity and knowledge to create a menu that is not all meatbased. Read more

This restaurant provides an absolutely incredible dining experience. The service is superb; I?ve never been to a place that is... more accommodating for my diet restrictions. We were blown away by the food, every dish had an amazing and complex flavor palatethat highlighted each ingredient. The menu was so well put together and I love their unique farm to table approach.
