Customer service was fantastic. Staff was very nice and friendly. However the food was just okay. I got a 2 meat plate with... baked beans and Brunswick stew. The chicken was chopped so fine that it was almost like a mush, far from a traditionalhand-pulled bbq. The beans were alright. The stew also okay. The main issue I had was the vinegar sauce. The meat was bathing init, to the point that the strong vinegar taste just gets to be overwhelming and masks any potential smoke flavor the meat mayhave. Everyone has their own tastes for BBQ but for example, fresh air BBQ in Jackson does a vinegar based sauce and it?s farmore balanced. I worked in a bbq restaurant for 5 years growing up, and I understand the challenges involved in trying to serveconsistent and fresh bbq. This one just wasn?t for me, but if you?re a BIG fan of vinegar based-bbq you shouldn?t bedisappointed. I see they do Ribs on Fridays.. I?ll be back to give those a shot ???? The food, is exceptional. Either the husband or wife, had to be a head chef at a high end restaurant prior. You can tell by how... clean they keep the kitchen. And the Family is super sweet, always very polite, and they take care of every customer. Even thefirst time I ever ordered. Read more
