A gem! This is Napa in Kentucky. The emphasis, of course, is wine, but they offer mocktails too. Wine can be purchased by... half-glass, glass, half-bottle or bottle, (and they sell wine bottles to take home at the same price as their neighboring retailshop). The menu is limited in a good way (no decision stress and kitchen focus on doing what they do right). All was good, theshrimp and grits dish gets particular high marks, and the charcuterie board is wonderful with the wine. The flourless chocolatecake with side dollops of creme and fruit preserve is a treat. The portions are perfect with a clean, almost nouvelle aesthetic.The restaurant offers special happy hours, free charcuterie with bottle buy on Tuesdays, and a great value 4-course dinner for 2on Wednesdays (currently 2 dinners for $65). The friendly staff creates an environment where fellow diners talk to each other,laugh together, and you leave knowing something you didn't know before about wine and life. One of our new favorites! It's a tiny little space, but they pack a great atmosphere into it. Both wines we tried were excellent, and the bartenders... recommendation was spot on what we were looking for. The beef Wellington popovers and shrimp nachos were both excellent. Read more
I have been here three different times. I had different menu items each time and loved them all. Last time we sat at the bar and... the bartender was great. Very informative of the food and wines. I am not a wine dri ker but my daughter loved. Fantasticfood!!! Read more
