I can say we were a little disappointed with our overall visit to Abita. My husband was thrilled to come to the brewery being... that we love to visit breweries and get tours. Upon arriving, we were greeted. We mentioned we wanted to do the tour. We paidfor the tour and waited a couple of minutes before Katie took us on the tour. The tour was awesome, I wish I could giveseparate review for the tour, it was what we experienced after the tour. After the tour, we set at the bar with the drinktokens. Since I am not a beer drinker, I allowed my husband to have my token. Our order was taken by Desi. I explained I onlywanted the root beer and my husband put in his first request of drinks. After we received the first flight, he tasted and waslike these are ok. We thought we would get checked on throughout the experience at the bar. Katie checked on us once andrealized my husband was not liking his first round of drinks. I think with his dislike of drinks, we were not waited on fromthen on. I have never felt so invisible at a bar. We never got to even visit the gift shop or even purchase a crawler. Thecouple that was next to us received like a royal treatment. We tried to wait a couple more minutes to see if we would ever getany additional customer service, and when we were ignored, we just walked out with a feeling of disgust. Read more

We had a fun and informative tour. Our tour guide did a wonderful job explaining the process as well as what makes Abita... different. My wife and I did tasting flights afterwards. Great beer! Keep an eye out for the beers currently on test runs. Givethem feedback. It could become their next regular brew. Read more

Trivia nights on Thursdays and a smattering of other events like painting with a pint etc etc.So glad to have these back bc its been years with covid ALWAYS note abita usually has some great pilot beers u can only gethere since they aren't bottled. Currently everyone should they the Neopolitan w/ a rotating flavor (whilst u drink it) ofstrawberry, chocolate and vanilla. That was not only a surprise but quite the treat. Theirs a nice outdoor area with seatingand also the mezzanine area outside the brew pub and gift shop that has beers to go and also aforementioned pilot brews.Growlers are sold in the pub and they will most DEFINITELY let us sample anything! The most recent addition was the cocktailsin a can. I had the tiki rum punch which was different (6$ for the can at the pub) it was great dunno if singles are worth theprice at 6 a pop tho but I'm sure u can get them commercial elsewhere. The self guided tours (free), like I went on years ago,I think someone mentioned aren't available atm but u can still get guided tours if u want to see where some of your favoritebrews are made Whether your touring the Northshore, a avid brew connoisseur, or just looking for a good time with some uniqueevents. Our brewery tour was not really informative. If you don't know how beer is made, you won't learn it here. Nor was the tour guide... able to answer our questions satisfactorily. The $10 ticket includes four four-ounce beer samples (or one pint) of your choicein the tap room. Apart from their standard brews, they also have several seasonal or pilot beers that you won't find elsewhere.However, there's no food available to accompany the beer tasting. Read more

This is a really cool place with really good beer. All the bar staff are friendly, helpful and, professional. The beer is... excellent; with seasonal rotations. There?s even an outdoor park/picnic like area with multiple tables and umbrellas. Worth thetime even if you?re not a beer lover; they have cocktails to! Read more
