It's been 9 years since I made a review of this restaurant but I had to put this here because of house grossed out I am . I... spent over 65 dollars on food for dinner for my birthday. At first I was eating some of appetizers and they tasted differentthan what I'm used to but I was ok. I got to the hot and sour soup and poured it in a bowl, about to put the lid ok the to gocontainer and I see something long and stringy. I picked it up with my spoon and got sick to my stomach. It was a 2 to 3 inchspider. I started gagging and threw away all the food. The sad thing is because of that experience, I will never eat there againor any Chinese food again. ***I DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My usual place was closed and I had a craving for some Chinese food so I popped... into this place, ordered and waited while they made my “freshly cooked” order. This place is absolutely terrible. I orderedthe mandarin chicken combo with “pork” fried rice and egg roll, an egg drop soup and an order of fried wontons. The chickenis so thinly sliced, I’ve had potato chips thicker than this. The batter on the chicken is perfectly golden brown and justsets you up for the disappointment of what’s inside. The chicken, being so thinly sliced, is dry and hard. The mandarin saucefor my chicken is the color of the spicy mustard packets but I wasn’t lucky enough to have it taste as good as that littlepacket. Nothing like any mandarin sauce I’ve had anywhere else. The “pork” fried rice has 2 itty bitty pieces of pork (sosmall, the cube of carrot, yes, singular carrot, was 3x’s the size) and the rice is crunchy, tasteless and, of course, dry.My egg roll is so deeply fried, it’s a reddish brown , almost the color of our red dirt, and rock solid. The egg drop soup,well, it has the consistency and taste of a busted egg yolk, thick and flavorless. The fried wontons, you guessed it, hard andovercooked! Visited earlier today. Restaurant was hot inside. Sesame chicken was sour. Not sweet and tangy. Honey chicken was hard as a... rock. Looked and felt more like pork rinds. Crab and cheese wantons seemed to be filled with curds and imitation crab. Not thecreamy filling I’m used to. Customer service was poor. Expressed dissatisfaction with staff and was told that’s how it’ssupposed to taste and look essentially. Will not be back . Better places in the area. Didn’t eat the food. Didn’t getsubstitutions.
