Restaurant is in a small strip mall. Beautifully decorated outside. Service was very good. We began with 3 appetizers. Broccoli... rabe and sausage and Spicy calamari was both equally delicious. The meatballs with ricotta were good. The meatballs were (3)golf ball sized. Tasted good but could use a bit more tenderness and flavor. Sauce was great. Chicken Parmigiana dinner wasflavorful but slightly over cooked. (very slightly) Linguini with clams (white sauce) was excellent. Shrimp parmigiana was alsovery good. Tortellini with Sausage (substitute for shrimp) in Alfred sauce was excellent also. Live music made it an even betterexperience. Dessert was also very good. NY cheesecake, tiramisu and cannoli?s. Ate outside on Saturday night, staff was collected and running things smoothly. Food was pretty solid for the price, BYOB is a... nice touch. We hosted our Engagement party at Il Gabbiano and it was such an amazing place to host our very special day in! Everyone treated... us amazing! The food was delishes and everyone was so helpful! Alejandro and his wife along side with his employees made sure wehad the perfect day and it sure was! We are so thankful for them to have provided us an amazing service! I was always curious about this place each time i go to UPS or to pick up sushi next door. I went with my family on a Friday... evening (dinner rush). Outside there were not any available tables (seems like everyone likes to dine in outside because of thelive music) so we tried inside. The service was a little bit slow, i had to ask one of the waiters who were around since thehostess was focused on her laptop while we were waiting by the door. We ordered an appetizer to give some extra time for thefood to come out. The food took a while to come out from the kitchen but it was great. Unfortunately, we didn't have space fordessert but there is always a next time. In the future we are going to give it a try a little bit earlier to avoid delays andto bring a nice bottle of wine since this place is BYOW. Read more
