One of my favorite restaurants in RI! Always sit at the bar and Justin makes fabulous drinks. He’s always changing up the menu... and creating new concoctions! They have $1 oysters on Wed, which is the best deal. Their menu changes seasonally and thedesserts are amazing! Get the cheesecake, you won’t regret it Read more

It has been a while since I've written a dramatic review. I will say ahead of time that the VPN or Vera Pizza Napoletana... designation made this a high bar to reach from the onset. That being said, by any standard, the 2 pizzas I tried - margheritaand the prosciutto were fantastically terrible. I almost thought it was a joke. I've had better frozen pizza than the margheritaI was served. There is no way they should hold a VPN designation, it should be stripped of them, they should be shamed. Secondlythe prosciutto pizza was just as bad. The prosciutto was cut way too thick, impossible to eat. The shaved parmesan was gross andalso way too large in pieces. The arugula wasn't dressed in anything inspiring. I ate outside and the atmosphere and servicewere a 5/5. I didn't even mind the price. The friggin flavor was a disgrace to the people of Napoli. Food was very rich and excellent - save room for the deserts. Great place for a special occasion. Service was great and... attentive. Parking is available behind the restaurant. Options of eating inside or out. Pick a wine - mixed drinks were madewith a heavy hand and all you tasted was the alcohol. Read more

The co reviewer and came back to Basta for dinner as we were in the area. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and we sat... outside for the evening. Service was good. We tried the La Posta “Laura” drinks and they were as feisty as theirnamesake!! (Worth trying with whiskey or bourbon instead of vodka) We had the huge tomahawk steak and the chicken Saltimbocca. Both were tasty and served hot. The cheesecake that night was definitely not the same as the ones that have wowed us in thepast. It was kind of odd? Read more

The restaurant is a hidden gem. The food here is great, and worth the money . I came here for my sister’s birthday, party of... 3, and it was about $180 plus tip. So if your in the mood to celebrate or have a date night, this is a fine place to go. Theplace is pretty.. especially in February! Luckily my birthday is in February, they decorate with 1,000 real roses every year . Read more
