Delicious food. The menu is limited but that?s not a bad thing these days. What they have on offer they execute perfectly. Their... grilled meats have a slight char and smokiness that makes you think it was grilled on some coals out back. Their falafel is thebest I?ve had in RI and the deserts are top knotch as well. I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I had Takkei for the first time a month ago. I typically live in MD, but was... in RI working at a friend's tattoo studio (Powerline Tattoo). I'm always looking for good food close by, and I was informed thata Mediterranean spot had just opened. I found the service to be excellent and quite attentive. The food is amazing and I believethat I established a new favorite at the tattoo studio (as Takkei is a block away, across the street.) I would recommend thisspot anytime. Fabulous, tasty food (some of the best babaganoush I've ever had), generous portions. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great... for take-out. Only a few tables. The owners are lovely and friendly.
