If you are a sports fan or better yet a sports fan with a vested interest in the outcome of your game you deffinatly don't want... to watch it here, particularly if it is a Sunday night, Monday night or Thursday night game. The manager likes to call last callwell before the game is over which leaves you hanging, particularly if the game goes into overtime like last night. Also, thissame manager likes to give you a song and a dance when asked to change the television from "The Bachelor" ( Or other non sportsrelated programming) to an NBA game so that it can be watched alongside the World Series game on the TV next to it. Very rude,no interpersonal skills. I have had these scenarios happen on more than one occasion. A few weeks ago on a Thursday night I wasover charged by one beer on my bill. Normally I'd understand this mistake but after reading through the reviews I see this iscommon practice at Chicago Sam's. I'll stick to Sliders where none of these scenarios would ever come close to being an issue. Read more
Horrible experience. Was given the same bill 3 different times after we had paid it multiple times before. Felt taken advantage... of and felt that staff were trying to get us to pay various bills that weren?t ours. After a few days later, we found that theyhad charged our cards over $30 and i am disputing all of them. Appears staff were adding there own tips. That?s criminal. What a beautiful night I hadn't been there in years but this place hasn't lost its touch plenty of room good music and wonderful... food. The gentleman at the door was very friendly and very nice I like the way he treated the customers when they came throughthe door he made them feel welcome good job. It was ok. Lots of TVs mostly sports, music playing. We showed up on trivia night, it was very easy to hear the questions over... the PA. Food was acceptable, though service was lacking. Had to ask where our appetizers were, chili with a good amount oftortilla chips, probably a simple service, but they brought them out about 2 min before our meals. I got cheeseburgers but theydidn't bring any ketchup, servers disappeared despite us sitting at the bar, had to grab a bottle from a table behind me. Myfriend thought his meal was nothing special, I thought mine was ok. Not very likely to return to this place, only because it'snot my typical scene. Read more

Had a long day and stopped at chigaco sams at 1:20am on Friday 11/11 because i saw their time closes at 2am. I got there and was... denied entry to an establishment that is still open until 2am. The security at the door told me ?the owner is not letting anyoneelse in?. I told him i would be in and out & was told by a gentleman in a low bun ?how can we guarantee you?ll be in and out?. Icould understand if the establishment was crowded or if it was 10min before closing or last call was called. As a business ownermyself, denying a customer entry to an establishment that is STILL open to public is bad business. Read more
