Menu for Prairie House Restaurant in Cross Roads, TX

Wow! We had the best BBQ since leaving Florida. The meat was dry rubbed slow cooked juicy, tasty, succulent and fall off the... bone wonderful. We split a full rack if ribs and had extra to take home. Also ordered the fried green Beans and Okra. With hisbeer and my mixed front the bill was only $32. Service with a smile on the 4th of July. The prairie house is a fun place to eat and drink. It has a 70's Texas/saloon/history atmosphere. Our server was super friendly.... Food was good but nothing super special. Definitely a cool place with checking out! Read more

Usually a good place but being a person who goes weekly it's a 50/50 chance of good food. Waiters are usually amazing no problem... there. They need to check food before it goes to customer's. We pay and tip well so please good food isn't to much to ask for . Read more

At the restaurant now and we asked only to be seated if prime rib was available at the time. So we were seated... Nope! In... prime rib the waitress said after we ordered and she put it in the computer. Comes back out nope no prime rib. Was making sureahead of time it was available.... She lied basically. Read more
