The hostess was friendly, the server we had (he) even with nail polish on was one of the top 3 servers my wife and I had this... year. ( going out at other establishments)He was articulate,polite and knew how to do his job! The ambience in Dukes wasamazing,from the hard wood floors to the brick walls everything was was on point! Until they tossed out that menu on the table.What the heck are they thinking?How many times do you need to be told something is vegetarian? How many times do you need to betold it's gluten free? Do yourself a service bring that menu back to somewhat of a normal menu, normal food... normal choicesand you will see Dukes come alive. I gave it a 5 star because of the employees and ambience. This was a very unique and cute place. Fresh flowers on the tables and the service was excellent. The menus were where I had the... most issues. I wasn't aware of what a lot of the stuff was on the menu (specifically the drink menu) so I just went with what Iknew. The waiter actually let me get a taste of one of the ciders before ordering it, which I definitely appreciated. They pridethemselves on serving local, grass fed beef and had organic and vegan items on the menu. I would say it was a bit pricey but thefood wasn't bad. When we were finishing up, they had begun setting up for karaoke night and when we were paying, they turned offthe lights and ended up playing music which was interesting lol. Easily my new favorite restaurant. Awesome beer selection, great service & staff, beautiful decor and just an overall awesome... vibe. The food is the best in the area. I’m still thinking about the grilled romaine Caesar I had and the lovely deviled eggflight appetizer. We will be back soon. Major bonus, they take reservations!! Read more
