Decided to try Spice 3:16, because I was really in the mood for some Asian food, specifically some Mongolian chicken. So I put... in a takeout order at around 7pm on a Saturday for Mongolian chicken and vegetable spring rolls. Unfortunately, I was sounimpressed and so disappointed in my food for so many reasons. The spring rolls were not that great. Points for being warm andlarger than most spring rolls, but other than that they didn't offer much. I've had better spring rolls from the frozen aisle inCostco. Definitely not worth the $5. Mongolian Chicken was the biggest disappointment in a takeout dish I have ever ordered.Again, points for being hot, but it peaks and crashes there. I was expecting my chicken to be lightly fried and then coated in adelicious sauce... INCORRECT. My heart dropped and my stomach cried when I opened the container to realize that was not thecase. The vegetables (onions, scallions) were decent, had a medium level crisp but the chicken was AWFUL. It was dry. And hard.Dry like chicken that was previously cooked, stored and then microwaved to be re-heated and possibly cooked again to give off afresh cooked illusion. It had a beef jerky like texture. Disgusting. This meal was such a let down and disappointment and notworth the $22 dollars I spent on it. I feel bamboozled. Although their menu looked appetizing it was deceptive, because thefood was bad. Not sure if it's just this one item on the menu, but after such a bad experience and waste of money I highly doubtI'll return to find out. I don’t know how something that looks so seasoned would have so little flavor. This was the driest chicken skewer i’ve ever... had and had no flavor at all. The peanut sauce had no taste of peanut but just tastes like coconut. Never coming back. save yourmoney and go to mcdonald’s Read more

Friday afternoon. No one in the restaurant, then over the course of the next hour, two more families come in. Ordered the lunch... specials. It came with a choice of soup hot/sour or egg drop. Neither of the soups were outstanding they were just aboutokay. And that is kind of the theme of this restaurant ... there's nothing to fault here, but nothing wows you either. Orderedthe veg ginger, and wife ordered the shrimp. Good portion sizes. The food was nothing to complain about but nothing to raveabout either ... kind of a cookie cutter Thai restaurant if you like your usual Thai stuff. Nearby bai tong is in a similarleague. Not bad for lunch but the dinner prices seem expensive, if they're serving the same thing. Read more
There is plenty of parking by the restaurant. We went for dinner on a weekday, but there was only one other table. There were a... lot of to go orders though. Staff wore masks and were pretty attentive. Hibachi Chicken: came with an egg drop soup, gingersalad and fried rice. The soup and salad was average. The chicken was very dry and a bit difficult to chew. The sauce on theveggies were a bit to overpowering. Also switched rice to fried rice. The fried rice was very well made and flavored! However,would not recommend getting the hibachi chicken. Drunken noodles with shrimp: ordered spicy and it had the right hint of spicyto it. Tasted really good! Nice amount of shrimp as well. Basil leaves with shrimp: ordered spicy as well. Very flavored andthe beef was well cooked. It’s nice that it came with a serving of rice. Also got another order of drunken noodles to go:) There are a few different levels of spicy, make sure you tell the waitress or it defaults to mild - which isn’t very spicyat all. Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere and genuine hospitality was so pleasant. The food was fantastic and tasted very... authentic! My family has been here a couple of times now. The Spice 3:16 menu was okay. It wasn't bad, wasn't great. The Juicy crab menu... was good. The staff was good. Not in your face all the time, but responsive and friendly. The location is convenient for us,so we will likely be back, but I personally wouldn't go too far out of the way for it. When we return, we will likely onlyorder from the Juicy crab menu. Read more
