Decided to finally try 5 Guys for the 1st time after all the hype. Went in knowing it was gonna be pricey but ordered a... cheeseburger & regular Cajun fry. $19 dollars!??? That's ridiculous.. those are Crack prices! Girl asked me if I wanted a drinkbut I'm not paying $4 bucks for tea or soda. Outrageous. Burger was nothing special. It's size wasn't impressive, no flavor, &toppings were all soggy. Fries were only decent but nothing to write home about. Do yourself a favor & go to any other fast foodburger chain to get a flavorful burger with crisp toppings for 1/2 the price. Oh & they want you to tip them on top of theinsane prices they charge for their food. They try to get you twice with a tip jar as well as on the payment screen. I didn't &no thanks. Waited in a line while no one was at the register for an easy 5 mins . 3 different sets of customers just waiting while the... staff watched us and kept working. Was as fresh or clean as the other 5 guys. It was more like an over priced burger king. Nolettuce on my burger had to guy back ask for lettuce and then it was brown soggy lettuce( worse than mc Donald's lettuce). Noice in the soda machines and the flavors were off. The staff reminded me of walmart employees. They smiled but were not helpfulat all. Dont waste your money or time here. Read more
I love the burgers from Five Guys! However, I would go to a different location, unless you plan on eating inside, so you can... correct their mistakes. I have been to this specific location 3 times, and all 3 times they have messed up my order. Got twoburgers and two milkshakes to-go today. I was sitting inside waiting for my order and they gave me the two milkshakes and theywere already completely melted (they had just made them) and was essentially flavored milk. I asked the lady who handed my mefood, "Are they supposed to be that liquidy?" She started to respond with, "Yeah that is how they come out." until she tiltedthe cup and saw it was anything but a milkshake. The part that got me was, it was the manager who originally made my milkshakes.As someone who works in a supervisory role, the manager is supposed to be the one who does things correctly. Granted, the guywas nice as could be, but when paying $6.00 for a milkshake, it should not be a worse quality one than a $2.50 one fromMcDonald's, let alone both of them. The lady did remake them for me, which the second time, they were actual milkshakes. I justgot back to the office, and lo and behold, there is no A1 sauce on the burger, no grilled mushrooms, and I got grilled onionsinstead of regular onions. The onions aren't a big deal, but no A1 sauce and no mushrooms not only completely changed the flavorI wanted/ordered, but it was much drier than it needed to be. It was still good, as it was cooked fresh, but it was not what Iordered. Since this is the third time that my order has been messed up from this location, I will simply drive the extra 2-5miles to go to a different location.
