Reading some of the previous reviews, my expectations were low, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great.... They filled up our chips and salsa almost immediately upon running low. They came by several times and asked if we neededanything, but not so much that it was annoying. The place was about half full, so not sure if that was a factor. Anyway, nothingto complain about there. The queso was great. I didn't have a can of Rotel dumped into it, but I actually prefer it that way.Rotel has a kind of metallic taste. If you want a Rotel like queso, just mix some salsa in and it's even better than Rotel. Thesalsa is top notch AND it comes warm which I love. The beans and rice were good. They seemed a little less salty than I'm usedto, but I prefer that as well. There's too much salt in everything already. If you want you can always add more. I tried thechicken quesadilla and while I thought the queso was little bland, my kid loved it. I got the pambazo which is a basically atorta with potatos and a teeny bit of chorizo, where the bread is slathered in something called red guajillo pepper sauce. Notmany places serve it, but it is really good. The one here was made in a way I'm not accustomed to. The ones I've had had theguajillo pepper sauce baked into the bread. Here, it was slathered on after the fact, making the bread wet. It still tasteddelicious, but you have to eat it with a fork and knife unless you're willing to make a huge mess, and there's no saving it forlater unless you're a fan of soggy bread. Maybe it's a regional variation? Not a big fan of doing this way, but like I said, itwas still good. Prices were not great, but not horrible either. All in all, really good. If this place was closer to my homeI'd come here often. For now this will be my pambazo place. Read more

I've only had fajitas from here (many times). I decided to try something different. I should have gotten fajitas. The chicken... breast I ordered was tough. I'd normally give 4 stars, but that meal was only worth one or two. Read more

I ordered a $36 dollar meal and got 2 ounces of salsa with my meal. I called and asked them to send additional salsa that I had... already paid for and the manager Liz told me she could not help me. I drove the two miles to the restaurant to complain inperson and was told by Liz that salsa was complimentarily and I wouldn't be given the 8 ounces that I had already paid for. Shetold me salsa was complimentary and that I was not entitled to it even though I got 8 ounces in the order from the previousweek. I not only was criticized by the manager as being disrespectful but that I needed to leave as I wanted her to make mymeal whole. I told them I would leave after they gave me the salsa that I had already paid for. Bottom line, the managerdoesn't care about their customers as she made no effort to resolve the problem, other than to give me half the salsa I hadalready paid for. Hard to deal with people who are not good stewards of the company's future business. She lost my futurebusiness going forward due to a 10 cent cup of salsa. I will never order any food from them again due to their disregard forthe customer and the fact Liz did not even try to make my order whole. Check your take out orders as you may get shorted overpennies as this management team tries to squeeze every penny from loyal customers. Read more

We have always enjoyed eating here, but after our experience we will not be returning. My mother in law ordered a create your... own plate where she got the choice of three items from their list. When her plate arrived, one of the items was incorrect andinstead of our server (Nayeli) grabbing the plate and returning it to the kitchen to get fixed. She grabbed the item with herbare hands off the plate to take back to the kitchen. I was disappointed with the lack of respect and sanitary protocols. Dobetter. Read more
