I was in town for a wedding. This hotel has a great location in the center of town. The room was new and clean. When you... register you have to sign that you will not smoke, bring pets or make noise. All which are fine. However they do NOT tell youthat there is no cleaning service in the room UNLESS you specifically ask. Very disappointing. Will not be back Read more

The hotel is very well located, near the center of town, yet in a quiet area. The rooms are spacious and recently refurbished.... They are still smelling like new. The check-in was seamless and we found a parking space right outside of our door. The bathroomis spacious and well appointed. On the down side the bed mattress felt shaky and uncomfortable. And the pillows are notparticularly comfortable either (synthetic filling). We enjoyed our stay, but the sleep experience could be better. Moreover, note that the hotel restaurant closes early for dinner (around 8 PM). Read more

Way too costly for what you get now. 2 people, $21.95 each for lunch, 1 chicken breast each, dried up cold bread, 1 piece steak... and gravy??, 4 very small bowls barely warm veggies, drinks with 0 refills unless you can flag someone down, and very driedfrozen pound cake and frozen strawberries for dessert. Only 9 other tables filled, so not busy. Just a totally changedrestaurant and we've been going for many many years. Last time. Read more

Food was just okay. Chicken was dry and lacked seasoning. Most of the sides were barely warm. Once the food was delivered to the... table that was the end of service. No drink refills. We had to ask for our dessert which was casually dropped off as she zippedby. I?m confused at how they got such rave reviews by others unless they don?t dine out much. Won?t be back and certainly willnot recommend. Read more

So I hadn?t been here since I was a little kid. Read the recent reviews and figured I?d give it a try anyway. I cannot believe... all the complaining in some of these reviews?whining because its not all you can eat anymore? Dude if what they bring you out isnot enough you need to go on a diet! Whining about it being over $20? Seriously? You get two entrees, half a dozen vegetables, bread, dessert and a drink. Its not 1975 anymore guys. Prices go up over time. This place was DELICIOUS! True Southern food.Much better than Cracker Barrel. The best part was the friendly Southern hospitality though! Read more
