I was super excited to try this place out because of how busy and hard it was to get into the place last few times I have tried.... Lets just say first and last time I come here people had warned me about it being over priced but I thought if the food is goodthen its fine. I ordered the NY Strip with mashed potatoes and a basket of bread. The bread I was given was the dinner rolls youget at Walmart and they were not even soft. Our server was extremely slow at serving our table and never came to check on us andhow our food was. She never gave us refills after the food was served. We were a table of 6 and between us had to share ourdrinks because she never came back. They automatically charged us all a Service Charge of 18.0% on top of our bill, which Iwould not mind if the service was good but our server was not attentive at all. Appetizers were fast and great! I've had better prime rib, 8oz for $30 yikes! Was super loud and cold in there.
This place was so great we had to come back through to try more and pick up some of their homemade sauces. Chislic was the best... I?ve ever had, the green Buffalo sauce is absolutely amazing. The service was above and beyond. I know it?s been extremelydifficult for restaurants over the past year and a half and this was such an enjoyable experience. Admittedly I was disappointed with the menu change because it was perfect before, but I loved the simple menu with choices my... whole family would eat at a great price. I ordered a DC Burger no mayo, add bacon, egg, and jelly. The jalapeño cream cheesewas the perfect mix with the jelly. This was the best burger I have had in a long time. The cook knows how to perfect season aburger. Husband order a Philly cheesesteak and he loved it. It had queso cheese on it and when he finished the sandwich with alot of steak and cheese still left. I can't wait to go relax in the sports bar with my favorite nachos. Read more
