This is an absolutely wonderful place for an Italian dinner in a lively atmosphere. It?s upscale, but relaxed and approachable.... The food is just as good as it?s pricier next door sibling, in my opinion. If you are looking for a cheap dinner, this is notyour spot, but if you have an appreciation for upscale NYC-style Italian with phenomenal service and a stunning wine list, youare in luck. Read more

Fabulous group dinner. Our server Anthony was fantastic. Very charismatic, knowledgeable and guided us through our whole... experience. The food was amazing: I recommend the whipped ricotta, polpetti, bolognese and definitely the spicy rigatoni- itlives up to the hype. I will be coming back. Read more

Come hungry and prepared to share - everything is family style. The table side ceasar salad is a fun experience and the spicy... rigatoni and orecchiette pastas were delightful. The chicken dishes are good, but fairly standard but the veal Marsala wasbetter. The wine list is disappointing - not a lot of variety in the lower price points - but there are a few gems. Read more

3.5 stars is fairly accurate. The clams were small and pitiful but the dish was delicious. The gnocchi was very good though... slightly over cooked. They were out of swordfish so served black bass in it?s place, it was incredibly bland and under seasoned. The ribeye was tasty and cooked properly. I really like the atmosphere here and the service was very good, a little more polishon the food and it could easily be a favorite place. Read more

Unfortunately, the hype around this restaurant did not live up to its high expectations. We arrived promptly at our reservation... time (7:15pm on a Thursday night), and then were brought to the inside lounge where we had to wait 36 minutes until we werebrought to our table. This lounge was inside the restaurant near the bar where everyone else was waiting for their table. Itseemed like this was a chance to get patrons to order several drinks before brought to the table, and we were asked 4 times whatwe wanted (after settling with water until we ordered drinks at the table).\n\nOnce brought to the table (after receiving a textthat our table was ready), we ordered the whipped ricotta and Caesar salad to start. The ricotta was ok - nothing to write homeabout but it was tasty if you got a bite with herbs. However, the Caesar salad was a massive disappointment. Maybe it wasn?tdressed accordingly? But this salad was on par with a bagged salad from the store. Nothing note worthy, the romaine was fine, and I could not taste the dressing. I do not like salads that are dripping with dressing, but I could not taste anything. Thiswas incredibly disappointing, especially for the $28 (!) price tag. When we ordered the salad, the waitress asked if we wantedanchovies with the salad, and we said yes. Halfway through digging into the salad - we wondered where the anchovies were so weasked the waitress. She seemed surprised that there weren\'t any in the salad (somewhat doubting us, which soured the mood) andbrought out 4 anchovies in a silver bowl. Again, for the $28 price point, this salad should have knocked us out of the park, orat least been better than a salad I could make myself.\n\nLastly, we ordered the spicy rigatoni. This was indeed spicy but again- it was just ok!! Yes, it was flavorful but absolutely nothing that blew me away. I had been looking forward to this dinner formonths and was incredibly disappointed in the entire experience.\n\nWe ordered an aperol Read more
