Loved the chicken. Walked in at lunch time and was greeted, I had to wait maybe 10 minutes for 2 orders. I'll be back for sure.

Highly recommended joint for some good Louisiana fried chicken! We got French fries which were dusted with cajun spices and... fried ochra which was fried per order. The chicken was hot, crispy and juicy. Really enjoyed it! Read more

Place is definitely Asian owned. Chicken Quality is " Edible ". Mash Potatoes are instant which isn't a problem but way too dry.... Not much passion in the preparation or cooking. Hendersons is cheaper and better quality. I'm not sure about the other menuitems but yea. I still ate everything though ????????? Read more

Warning: This is going to be a long and harsh review. I've been a very strict caterer for almost a decade of my life and from... what I saw in this restaurant, I'm sorry for the owners here. They are genuinely nice and trying to make ends meet for theirfamily. Overall: Very clean restaurant with average quality food for people on a budget. Strict mention: I'm not going toorder food here ever again, no matter how clean the dining room is or how cheap their food is. Note: I'm specifically givingthis place an extra star based on the sole fact that it's family-owned and I really, REALLY want them to thrive in this harshghetto environment, especially since they seemed to employ their young child, who is very obviously under the age of 15. I hopehe's doing well enough in school to get out of his family restaurant business in order to gain greater opportunities for himselfand possibly support the rest of his family. The restaurant is owned by an Asian family, which is extremely rare in this area. That being said, their menu is hardly Louisiana-based; it's more of a free-for-all kind of standard menu choice with very fewLouisiana-inspired dishes that can be frozen and reheated in a microwave- and I very much think they did that with the red beansand rice mentioned below. The hard facts: 1. I specifically asked for their spiciest hot wings and they gave me medium-hot atbest. It seems like they quite literally have one spice level. This is good for people who can't handle spice, but not goodfor people like me who want to burn their tongues to oblivion and enjoy the suffering. This statement possibly impacts mysecond and fourth points. 2. As I stated before, their red beans and rice didn't have much flavor to them and tasted as if theyhad used Minute Rice in the microwave mixed with red beans with not much spice added. It was very underwhelming, especially forsomeone who used to have a roommate who was from Louisiana and knew perfect amounts of spices Read more
