Great little neighborhood dinner. Get here early on weekends to avoid a wait! I came for breakfast. Food was tasty. They have... some interesting items on the menu including some Canadian items. As many of the reviews mentioned, the wait here is LONG. Definitely be prepared, especially in this Texas summer heat. I almost... didn't go just because the wait was so long, but I changed my mind last minute. I'm so glad I stuck it out. The wait wasabsolutely worth it! I ordered the Country Sausage Waffle ($17.99). While a little pricey, the dish came with a lot of food. Thefried chicken was tender, the sausages were SO DELICIOUS, and the waffles were perfect. We came here on Memorial Day to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food... was fantastic, and our server Chris was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered the Chicken & Waffles and they were verywell plated/presented and so, so good! The waffles were crisp on the outside but still tender on the inside. The fried chickentenders had a not too thick, not too thin coating that tasted very homey and delicious and paired perfectly with the waffles.The two little cream puffs rounded out the meal nicely. Very clean and nicely decorated. I thought for sure this place was part of some corporate chain or had multiple locations... because of the professional design throughout the restaurant. I was surprised to learn it was a single locally owned location.Staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious!
