Came here because the 2 reviews on caldo de res seemed good and my husband has not been able to find a decent caldo in all of... Dallas. The caldo was ok and he would return. He said he liked the flavor but the caldo was lukewarm and needs to be much hotterto be thoroughly enjoyed. The rice that accompanied it was not good. I had the same experience with my enchiladas Verdes. Theywere not hot at all but rather lukewarm as if they had been sitting for a bit before being served. Which is totally possibleconsidering we had to wait 34 min to get our food. Service wasn't the best considering the size of the small restaurant. Theywere not packed (9 tables full) and considering they had 3-4 waiters, service should have been faster. I would not returnbecause it is your basic Tex Mex restaurant despite what reviews say and way too far to come from Plano but my husband liked thecaldo so will definitely try something different on my return visit. I?ve be going here since I was a kid (I?m 41 years old) and this place has been a stable of the community. This last time the... quality and taste of the food was extremely bad and subpar to what I was accustomed to. The service was even worse than thefood, every time we said thank you to the server her response was..?ok? or ?yeah? like she was bothered by having to do her job.Over all that will probably be the last time I visit this place, which is sad because the wife and I liked forward to drivingout from Kaufman on occasion to enjoy what muse to be great food! Bad service, Manager was nice though. It's Authentic, but not what you'd expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. Rice and... beans were cold. Steak fajitas were tough. Just ????..To be fair the chips, salsa and Tortillas are pretty decent. Take a HardPass. Trust me you'll be waisting your money. Read more
This place is awesome! Authentic Mexican food, not the usual Tex-Mex found around here. Table salsa was delicious and spicy,... house margs were really good, and the mole enchiladas were perfect. Read more
