No one goes to a cafeteria style BBQ for a fine, craft BBQ experience. They come to get a good, cheap meal. This checks both of... those boxes. I wanted to try their pork ribs and brisket, but nothing on the menu could line those up. So I went with the 3 beefplate and asked if I could swap the beef rib for a pork one. Nope. Then when I went to pick it up they told me they were out ofbeef sausage, would I like a pork sausage? Wait a minute, we can switch items if you want but not if I want?? I went with it.Again, I didn't have high hopes. The brisket was ok. Not sure if there's any wood smoke going on for very long, but with theright amount of sauce, I got it down. The beef rib was a definite let down. It was so chewy I thought I was given a dog bone. Infact, I should have saved it for mine. The pork sausage was good and tasty. The green beans looked good but I think roomtemperature was warmer so I don't think it was put under the heat lamp for long. The creamed corn was a definite pass. I alwayssaid that I never met a creamed corn I didn't like. That's now off of my "quote list". I had a terrible first time experience today with the Pappas brand. I ordered curbside online, paid online and arrived at the... given time. Long story short, I had to wait 20 more minutes before my order came out, plus I had to call them to find out theyran out of a meat on my order. They should have called me first, not the other way around. The cherry on top was finding halfthe sauce spilled in the bottom of the bag. Not worth my time. Disappointing. Read more
Big open space...Great AC & ceiling fans on maximum speed... (in other words I was actually chilly) But better to be cool than... hot in the middle of August in Texas. Love the decor and chairs and booths as well as the salad/veggie/condiment Bar. Greatchoices of meats and sides. Our sweet potatoes were under cooked but we loved their large cut fries (cheese fries look amazingtoo). And the Mac n Cheese was also very good. We had a family BOARD of meats. Opted to have turkey instead of the sausage. Andwe are so glad we did. The Turkey is AMAZING! Our first time here and we will definitely return! Read more
The brisket was very flavorful and tender. Some of the best I've ever eaten. The pulled pork was great also. Both were almost... melt in your mouth delicious! My sides were green beans and potato salad that were very tasty as well. For dessert I had anexcellent piece of carrot cake. The staff was friendly and helpful, and greeted me when I entered. This is definitely someplaceworth going back to the next time I'm in the area. Read more

Ok bbq. Way overpriced. Been eating here for a couple years, recently they reduced the amount of meat and sauce and increased... the price on the sandwich. That sandwich and drink pictured is over $18 dollars. I always felt a little ripped off but now it?sa total rip off. Your better off driving 5-10 minutes in any direction for better bbq.
