Fantastic local bar and restaurant. They serve the best fried shrimp in Dallas. All of the food is very good. Lenny is one of... the owners and he really wants his customers to have a great experience at Shuck'n Jive. The regulars are friendly. Theatmosphere reminds me of "Cheers." Bill is a long-time server and a true professional. David is a bartender and worked atPappadeaus for over 17 years. Just a wonderful guy. And Shuck'n Jive is also an excellent sports bar as well. Placed an order over the phone. Person didn't ask for my name. Ordered Fried Mushrooms and Fish Combo. It wasn't a Fish Combo.... Maybe next time put a name to the order. Didn't order Jambalaya. Not coming back. I wished I never gave the Bartender a tip. Read more
Stopped in here completely at random. Was staying in a nearby hotel and was looking for somewhere that was open late.. Ordered... a poboy and a beer. Kicked back and just took in the atmosphere, wasnt really where I thought Id end up for the day but it was adecent experience. Food came out after not too long, and was pretty decent. No complaints..
