I was about to eat at Dickey?s, but found out through the information hub that there is a Saltlick. The same ones from... Driftwood, TX! Great brisket. Great food! Will stop every time I?m at DFW without hesitation. Read more

Wish I would have checked the reviews. $27 including tip, for a brisket sandwich, beans and a drink. It was mediocre at best. ... I've had better beans out of a can. Brisket was rubbery and slathered with no choice in sauce. I've heard Salt Lick islegendary, if so, this location doesn't deserve its name. Read more

We were in the Dallas Airport and looking for a quick bite to eat. It was quick but the food was cold and not flavorful. We got... the sausage sandwich, which was on special, the brisket plate with fries, corn and baked beans, the chop chop sandwich, andcoleslaw. Like I said, the food was cold, fries were not seasoned, corn was not buttered and the baked beans were not seasonedeither. They asked if we wanted sauce on our sandwiches and brisket and we said yes, but the amount of BBQ sauce they put on thefood was so minimal we couldn't even tell. Had to wait another 5 minutes to get someone's attention to get some more BBQ sauce. Read more

What a relief to come down the escalator and smell delicious Texas BBQ after being abroad for 2 weeks. I was bummed though... because the staff were just closing the ropes off and shutting the door on a chance to sink my teeth in some deliciousmeat! The man Tadros saved me. He said hey man, You look hungry come on in, you can be last customer. They were in the middleof mopping and cleaning but welcomed me in. Fantastic customer service, I really felt the love. Thanks for being soawesome! Now the food is as always fantastic at Salt Lick. I had the ribs, potato salad and cole slaw. Wow, so good. Thanksbeing here and being awesome! Much appreciated!!!! Pretty flavorless if you ask me. The pulled pork quesadilla had no flavor. The baked beans had no flavor. The tortilla was... barely warm. The sourcream was good. Plus a coke and your quick lunch is $20 and change. Not worth $ it. Read more
