We love Campo Verde for all of its cheeziness. They had just started putting up all the Christmas lights on our visit tonight. ... If you have never been during the holiday season, it is truly a spectacle of over the top decor. The food is fine but nothingspecial. Once you park, Google another restaurant and go there instead. Horrible food. Pre packaged guac and over cooked food that's been... kept under a heat lamp or microwaved is what you'll get. You'll also catch yourself staring at your plate with confusion andgetting angry for not taking the advise of some of these 1 star reviews. Our waitress was nice though, I'll give them that. Butrun!! If my brain was a place, it would be the inside of this restaurant. Wood paneling, Christmas lights, psychedelically lit cow... skulls, random knick knacks and Tiffany lamp shades with a little train chugging through the entire place while 70s and 80smusic plays in the background. Expectations were a bit high since many people in the area recommended it but it failed to impress just a bit. Atmosphere is... different but as you look around that decor is very dusty and just doesn?t look clean. Food was over priced for what we got,fajitas very bland, everything else very greasy. Server had a cold and just sniffling all over the food. Lost my appetite.Ordered a draft beer which was as warm as my cheese sauce.
