Great place! Awesome staff and food!
Ordered basic cheese burger and it was very lip smacking good and the onion rings crispy crunchy golden brown loved em and the mamosa just topped off a good (remember the old time burgers) ole lunch.Hwy 212 Damascus
I got what they called special which was a grilled sandwich with no bread in the middle. It turned out to be 2 pieces of bread and 2 pieces of very thin sliced meat with some fake cheese on the bread. By far the worst sandwich I've ever had. I told the waitress the food was terrible she just Look at me and laughed. I would rather eat at the food carts across the street Then that dump
Brought my family in (including hungry kiddo) to have lunch and had to walk out! Several of the booths were filthy, had to dust crumbs off my chair? and when we sat the waitress literally TOSSED the menus on our table and walked away, not saying a word. Then we waited? and waited? and waited. The server helped the one other table, making three trips out to them, and kept her back turned to us! We sat there thirsty and hungry without even so much as a friendly ?hello? or ?I?ll be right with you.? Shame on you for treating my family so poorly. Terrible service, there is no excuse on such a slow day.
Wow. So impressed with the cleanliness of this pub. I mean CLEAN. The salt and pepper shakers, Chipotle, tabasco sauce...Clean! The booth, table, floors, light fixtures...CLEAN. I can honestly say this was the cleanest pub I have ever been in. Such friendly and efficient service. Food was fresh and reasonably portioned and priced. The toast was actually warm. The toast! These people care about their customers . 5 stars.
The staff is very sweet, however the cooks need to pay attention to detail. I asked for over medium eggs got over easy. My gravy had a film on top of it like it had been in the window a while, not very warm. Also, I asked for extra crispy potatoes very lightly done light brown if that. Biscuits didn't have much taste, didn't seem cooked. The rest of our group had the same issues. Drinks where great, bartender was fabulous. Will try again might have been an off day.
Better food and service at Shari's, First time eating there, was drawn in by the Prime-rib special. When we arrived at 6:40 pm, there were about 4 tables being used the rest still had dishes on them. We were not sure weather we should wait to be seated to just sit down so we waited until we saw another family (Large size group) come in behind us and just sit down. When I asked I was told, they needed to clean the tables, so we sat and waited. Then the younger server, who also told us to just sit down, went past us and waited on the other table. We waited 20 minutes before the older more polite server realized we had been waiting so long (at this point, I was timing it, because I was honesty about ready to get up and walk out with my wife). When the older waitress finally came back, we told her we were disappointed with getting skipped, we told her that we already knew what we wanted to order, the Prime-rib special. She politely told us it was sold out and then asked what we would like to drink. At this point, I still should have gotten up and walked out, but I thought there was a chance the food might be really good and this lady was nice. We got water, which took another 15 minutes. When she finally returned my wife and I went and order the, "Gary's choice" which was supposed to be Rib-eye 12oz for $19.95 and and they were out of bake potatoes (No biggie on the potatoes) we then waited another 40 minute for our food and when it arrived, my wife had asked for Au jus sauce and horse radish, but never got it. never had or water refilled either. The steak were absolutely ridiculous, If they were even really Rib-eye. It was tough, hard to chew and loaded with fat, and not marbleizing fat like Rib-eye has. These steaks were more like the type I would get with my eggs in the morning. Never again will I eat her. And for the younger waitress she was just rude from beginning to end. For the record, I did leave a $5.00 tip which was more then I should have left.
