We stopped here on hour four of a long drive and were seated very quickly - especially for a Saturday night. The atmosphere was... great and the gluten free tacos were amazing (highly recommend the Baja shrimp). My only qualms were that the bathroom could?vebeen cleaner and I didn?t care for my drink - although that could just be personal preference. Read more
I had high hopes for this place and was very disappointed. Maybe it was an off day for the staff. Food came out and the waitress... ignored it even though we were the only guests in the restaurant. When our tacos came to the table finally they had no salt andvery very little seasoning. Salsa would have been a good fix but they were out so I didn?t get the chance to try it. The fishtacos were so dry and had an off flavor that I couldn?t take more than one bite. I know things happen but I left hungry so can?tgive a better rate than 1 star. Good tacos without all the grease; chill and nice staff. My partner and I had chips, salsa, and queso to start, a few tacos... each, and a nice tart key lime pie for dessert, all for under $40. We almost didn't go, due to the recent flurry of negativereviews, but I'm glad to have tried it. Decent prices for the food, interesting taco options. This was a very disappointing experience. You can get 3 tacos and a side of rice at most Mexican restaurants for around $10.00... (and you get free chips and salsa). Came out to $38.00 (not including tip) for 4 tacos, chips, salsa, cheese (charged us $6.00for 2oz of cheese - it was not the appetizer, just the cheese) and, 2 non- alcoholic drinks. Half of our order was wrong. Thetortillas were cold, half of my beef taco was gristle and came with no lime wedge but did come with a sprinkle of cheese that isnot customary of traditional street tacos (also no salsa for traditional tacos was given).
