Distasteful establishment and horrible customer service. This is not a Starbucks that I frequent often, only when necessary... because it is within route to my gig. I ordered my usual, and upon receiving my courtesy cup of water, there was no ice. Imentioned it to one of the baristas who hastily and messily (might I add) shovels a mere scoop of ice into the cup. So much forprofessionalism - LOL. The woman that rang me out, Jill, was super rude and curt during our encounter. This is the same baristathat "mistakenly" makes another customer's order twice, but neglects my sandwich altogether, so I am nearly waiting 10 minuteslonger for a breakfast sandwich that takes all but a couple of minutes - if that - to heat up. At that point, I had began tomonitor the timing because I was now late for work. In the meantime, Ms. Jill and her counterparts are too busy chit chatting asif all of the orders in the lobby had been attended to and served. I looked about me and saw that I was one of few remainingpatrons that had been waiting for their orders. I brought these concerns to the staff's attention and the sandwich was madewithin minutes. It is a poorly ran establishment; I'd recommend taking your business to the other side of 75th. We came back here at this Starbucks in Darien last Sunday, on Father's day arrived at 11:00am we left at 11:30am. We decided to... get out of our car and physically go inside. There are people assigned to take and make orders for drive thru, there are peopleassigned and making the mobile orders, 2 people assigned inside, One is warming food, the other one is the cashier and makingorders for customers Inside. We ordered egg and kale bites, and grande Tea Latte. The egg bites was warmed and done after fewmins. While waiting for my drink, I noticed that there are 2 to 3 customers who ordered over the counter and arrived after mewho already got their drinks. I still waited, then 17 mins after I still dont have my drink. So I asked my husband to ask thecashier, because I think she forgot to make our drink because there's no customers anymore in the line and she was not makinganything. The cashier was irritated and told my husband that they have many mobile orders. Then she went to the back, there's no customer in the line anymore and she's not making any drinks. So my husband was nice and waited for another 5 mins.Still nodrinks came. So he went back to the cashier and told her that we will just cancel our drink. The cashier argued and she said,they are literally pouring your drink right now! So they made the tea latte for only few seconds but we waited for 20 or moremins!. We just decided to cancel our drink order!!! She forgot to make our drink and she has this nasty attitude towards us thatthey have many orders but she made and gave the drinks of those customers after us! I?ve been coming to get the same drink every morning for a year now, and there?s a lady I?ve never seen, I politely tell her my... drink is wrong because I can?t taste the syrup, she has the worst attitude and says ?ma?am I?m sure it?s in there it?s a syrup?I say it?s okay even though I paid the extra $0.80 for the 1 pump of syrup. I just didn?t want to deal with her attitude thisearly in the morning. Starbucks please train your employees better, hopefully she just was having a bad day, but we all do, andI paid for a drink to be made HOW I WANTED IT, that?s fully what I expect. Read more
