Good place in Maryland with a fantastic sunset view. With some good wine and a Great atmosphere. Definitely, a place to visit... with friends to celebrate or a weekend to unwind. Read more
Families Beware - this venue is NOT kid friendly. The first time we went, it seemed they were. The place was filled with dogs... and people of all ages enjoying a sunny afternoon. This time, our children, who were playing far away from anyone else andsupervised by their dads, were approached and told they had to sit quietly at a table, it was venue policy. The manager laterapologized and said that nobody had complained, they had been perfectly fine and not bothering anyone, it's just that the ownerhad been very clear on policy and even put up a sign at the entrance. A sign for kid behavior at an outdoor venue filled withpicnic tables? This place must think pretty highly of itself. I could understand a general policy of "please be respectful ofother guests" or a manager intervening if there was an actual complaint or wild behavior. But a preventative "sit down and bequiet" policy is incredibly rude, and we left immediately since one of the kids was in tears. We take our kids to four and fivestar restaurants in downtown DC all the time, where they are well behaved and treated courteously. This place is a sham and ajoke, putting on airs like that. Beautiful place and good wine. Everything was clean and the service was so good, they took their time to explain what they... offer. I would have preferred more food options, since the cheese boards are small. We left early because there were a lot ofbugs bothering, but I understand it?s complicated to control that situation. In general, I recommend this place for having anice wine and good view. Read more
First time here while visiting a friend. Beautiful view. We chose their whites (chardonnay, sparkling royal) which were crisp... and fruity; perfect on a humid summer day. Paired these with their charcuterie which made for a good day. Next time, we'll trythe reds. Read more
