Incredible spot right in Burnside! My co-worker and I stopped for lunch and we were just wowed! He had the haddock special and I... had the shwarma wrap and we split an order of the cabbage rolls and it was all delicious. Everything there seems like a must-trywith rotating daily specials. The staff were phenomenal and incredibly friendly.Will definitely be grabbing lunch here againsoon! Check it out. Read more

Janina's is my favourite Friday lunch spot. They have a different special every day. Friday is when they do their fried haddock... and potatoes special. The fish is hot perfectly crisp on the outside and flaky on the inside, never overdone. The potatoes arejust the right portion, with a delicious herb blend on them while they roast. You also get house-made tartar sauce, coleslaw,and warm buttered roll. Personally, I swap out the roll for an extra coleslaw because the slaw is a vinegar base that hits justright after some fried food and carbs. Their staff are always friendly and funny, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutesfor my food. If you're in Burnside and need a quick and tasty lunch, this is the spot. Read more
