I can't really comment on their food as I haven't bought any of their pies, sausage rolls or Cornish pasties for a while: we... prefer to make our own. However, what I can comment on is the exorbitant prices of their groceries. None of it is priced soyou fill up your basket not knowing they charge $11.75 for 4 tiny generic Cherry Bakewells, and not the delicious Mr. Kiplingones, either. Nothing is priced so my teenage son Inadvertently spent $76 of my money on food that would cost no more than £20in the UK. He was so embarrassed, he called me when he got in his car and I told him to take it all back. They point blankrefused to give him his money back, despite him only just leaving the store.. So, unless you're a fan of places who overchargeand price gouge, I'd avoid this place. Absolute criminal. Read more
This place has relocated to the Haines City shopping mall down 27. It made me so happy that they moved! The food is still yum.... The staff was wonderful and checked in with us. I?ve never had a bad meal here. I love the fact that everything is made in houseand they also do European imports of some lovely British Staples. I?m so happy this moved literally five minutes from my home Iwill be here very often. Read more

Just over on my annual trip to Florida and found the Proper Pie Co by pure chance, the Fish & Chips were amazing - the same... ?English? taste I get back home. Took some pies away to try, the pastry was the best I?ve tasted and they were full of filling,unlike most pies you buy these days. Great start, I look forward to visiting the new shop when I?m back later in the year. Read more

While on holiday in Orlando from the UK, my mate who now lives in Jacksonville asked if I would drive down to The Proper Pie... company with him to get a taste of home. He bought pies and bacon to take back with him. While we were there, we took theopportunity to grab some lunch. He had a pie and I had a pasty. First thing to say, these were properly oven cooked and notrushed in a microwave. I can honestly say the pasty I had was one of the best I have had in a long time. Good pastry but thefilling was fantastic - right ration of meat to veg, the meat was good quality and just the right balance between being toochunky and too minced and finally the gravy was lovely and rich. For any Brits in Florida missing that pastry kick, I canhighly recommend this place. Read more
