I have been frequenting this restaurant for several years. The food is good, but the customer service definitely needs... improvement. The last 2 times I attempted to order take out, I was on hold for more than 30 minutes the first time and 15minutes (before I hung up) the second time. There are no pleasantries, just rude staff answering the phones. You either get?Stavros, pick up or delivery? Hold.? or ?Stavros, hold?and no one ever comes back on the line. I actually drove to therestaurant while still on hold and placed my order at the counter. I explained what had happened and showed them I was still onhold (almost 30 minutes total). They didn?t even apologize. Today, I tried again and still experienced poor customer service.While the food is good, it is also good at many other places that go above and beyond to provide good service and ensure theircustomers feel valued. A must stop when visiting the area for great pizza. Sure do miss the one on Daytona Beach shores across from the El Caribe motel... but glad we still have the one location in old town by the Jackie Robinson Ballpark. One of my favorite spots and lots of greatmemories at Stavro's Pizza. Thanks for another great meal and see you next time we are in the area. Read more
Waitress left our table before we finished ordering because we were having drinks in and food to go. We always tip as if we eat... in, but she made her assumption....so....yeah, didn't get that PROPER SERVICE $$ since we didn't get to order the rest of ourfood. Sad that people in the service industry have become so entitled for what they do rather than realize they would make muchmore $$ for just doing the job they are there for...Serving the public.. The place was packed with one waitress. I wouldn?t come back for the pizza because it just was lacking something, my party... agreed it was garlic. It tasted bland. The garlic knots were great though! Would come back for the pasta though! Read more
