We were in town for a conference and wanted to treat some clients to a memorable meal. Memorable it was!! Our reservation was... for 6:30 and we were promptly seated. The views of Daytona Beach were spectacular at that time of day. Our server, Allison, waspleasant and attentive throughout our entire meal. There was live music and the whole vibe made for a wonderful evening. Thefood was good, but not great. Although, the warm rolls were absolutely mouth watering. Had a chance to visit the bar at the top of Daytona. I had a great experience with the bartender Tanya. I mentioned that it was... my birthday and I got a complimentary ice cream on the house! This chocolate mousse dessert that you can see in the picturesreached my high expectations! Definitely recommend visiting the bar. Read more
We had a perfect dinner at Top of Daytona. Food was delish. Hannah was our server. Even the Caesar Salad had just right amount... of dressing. Salmon wonderful. $5 house wine. The pelicans fly by like it's their job! Read more
1. Views were amazing! 2. Our server was amazing! That?s why it?s 3 stars?3. dinner rolls amazing! Manager and steak filet? not... so amazing. Ordered medium rare, came well. I normally would never even say anything but $47 you really should get it the wayyou ordered. Second one a half hour later(or longer) was worse? medium well. Not an ounce of pink in the steak. I didn?t want towait so I told my server I would just eat it. Thank God it was served with gravy!! Anyway, $9 discount so on my way out Ithought I would just check with a manager and see if they would maybe just give me a $25 gift card for next time. Nope! He was abit rude and arrogant but he did offer a 20% discount on my next meal for two.Not from the area so not sure I will ever use butI really just wanted a great steak for the money. Rolls were hot, but rock hard. Girlfriends Caesar salad was wilted with almost no crunch, chicken was dry. My filet was cooked... beautifully but probably not 8oz, disappointed with the one golf ball sized red potato and serving size of green beans.Girlfriend ordered an appetizer that never came, wasn?t on the bill and we didn?t like the food enough to give them the chanceto bring it. I just asked for a box, paid the bill and left, only way I would?ve left happy was agreeing to pay for our 2 drinks& tip, which won?t happen, so it wasn?t even worth bringing this up. Nice restaurant. We were not even there for an hour. Mostly waiting on food. We left and got food at the hotel ( plaza resort and spa ) that was better ( and cheaper ) than this. Can?t even say I paid for the view because our reservation was at 8pm after sunset, and all ocean facing lights have to be offthis time of year. If you?re going on vacation and are planning a nice day with your S/O ( breakfast, walk on the beach,couples massage, etc etc ) , I don?t recommend here for dinner. Read more
