My family evacuated to the The Shores resort and spa for hurricane Ian and we had the most pleasant hotel experience. We... couldn?t be more thankful to all of the staff who were so kind to me and my children during such a challenging time. I highlyrecommend this hotel and we can?t wait to go back! The Shores is in Daytona shores, just down the street from Daytona Beach proper which is a big plus with less crowds and... congestion. This place is super clean. The staff are super efficient and friendly and we just had a great time. They have a hugepool and pool deck area and the beach out front is just perfect. The hotel is pet friendly as we brought our 90 lb Labrador andsaw many other dogs. Definitely one of the nicest places you stayed. Read more

Accommodations were for 4 people. The staff was unable to give us 2 more chairs for the patio on the balcony. Bathroom was set... up for only 2 people as well. No extra towels. No extra bottles of water or coffee. When asked for additional, we waited overan hour to have towels brought to the room. For a Spa we expected more luxury. The spa and resort was nothing special then aregular stay at a hotel. I've stayed at hotels nicer. Read more

This was a return trip for us. We visited 15 yr ago and had a splendid time. The resort is still clean and well staffed. ... Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Daily 'change over service' bed, linens and towels be requested the day prior??? Thepool, outdoor bar and hot tub area were very nice. We did enjoy the spa services, but the hit of the visit was the indoor barand especially Tom. His service (to all ) was top shelf. So, I was trying to be fair with my ratings because the location was nice, the property is beautiful but feel like there should... be microwaves in the rooms, better coffee machines and they don't have roll out beds. I feel like most hotels have that andbecause of this I have to overall give it a four stars. They have a really nice property so if you have exactly four people inyour party, there should be no issues. A/C sometimes gets too warm. I'd go back again but would make sure to bring a blow upbed.
