First visit with the family and terrible experience. We are waiting for more than 1 hour to eat 1 pizza. Nobody took care of our... order, and hopefully, they will bring the vegan option as we ordered. Read more
I?m not one to write reviews, however, I?m absolutely appalled at the horrendous service provided at this restaurant. Our group... was immediately denied when we walked in even though the restaurant was completely empty. The hostesses were sitting down in abooth chatting it up when we arrived and obviously did not want anybody to interrupt their all-important gossip. They would noteven attempt to accommodate our party but luckily we made our way down the street to the AMAZING Farm Burger (which by the wayis a lot smaller restaurant and got our food out in a timely manner). They obviously have people that care about how they aretreating customers unlike the dreadful Mellow Mushroom. Stay as far away from this place as possible if you are expecting anyform of southern hospitality! Read more
By far my favorite mellow mushroom around Atlanta. It's got a nice patio seating. The only reason I go here if for the shitake... pizza. It is mouthwatering. Overall: great food, good vibes, superb staff. Upstairs area is not part of Mellow Mushroom restaurant. 96/100 on current (June... 2022) health rating. Hostess and waiter were perfectly attentive, respectful, and responsive. Ordered a small Kosmic Karma formyself and was comfortably satisfied with 1/2 (2 slices). Music playing was rock-punk-alternative, slightly loud. Seats werefilled 2/3 on Thursday evening. Would recommend for downtown Decatur Pizza spot. Read more

So I needed a cool and casual place to celebrate my son's 16th birthday with a family dinner. Mellow Mushroom doesn't take... reservations but they did say if I came in about an hour before the time I needed (7pm/Saturday) they could do the best theycould. We had a party of 20. I get there around 6:15 and they had an entire section at the ready! I was so elated! Our server,Ashley, was impeccable. As our guests came in somehow she was always at the ready to take an order, refill a drink, suggestdrink pairings. Sh truly was the star of the place. Additionally, because we were a large party other servers stopped by toclear tables, bring menus,etc. Last but definitely not least the food was so,so good. Hot and fresh and not a long wait.
