I waited at the bar for 10-15 minutes to order but no one paid attention. A group of four white women walk in and of course they... get served in less than one minute. I asked the bartender, Travis, how did they get serve before me and he gave me some BSexplaination ?I work the bar from the top end to low end.? I explained to him that I had been waiting for at least 10-15 minutesand during that time I noticed he made eye contact with me but did not serve me which I could draw no other explanation otherthan I wasn?t a white female with a group of other white females. He didn?t like my thoughts and kicked me out. The security guystated that he did notice that I was waiting and acknowledged that the four white women had just walked in but Travis seem notto care and said because I called him on his sh*t that I had to leave. Then he orders the black man (door guy) to kick me outwhich he (door guy) says ?I?m just doing my job. I did see the concern but We can?t do anything about it. The managers are goingto support him. I just have to do my job.? Really?! Even their own staff saw the issue but for sakes of keeping his job he hadto stay quiet and follow the demand of Travis (a white man). My all-time favorite bar. I love the staff and people that come here. Efficient menu that's delicious and filling. I am an... artist and this is such a hub for the art community that I wouldn't be successful as an artist if it hadn't been for trackside'sawesome staff and ability to attract talented artists. Food and ambiance was great but service was disappointing. The lady serving at the bar was loud and rude.
Please: realize that this is an industry bar and stays open the latest you could ask. They have excellent bar food upon request.... There is no service outside of the bar, including food orders. No exceptions. This is not a college bar even though Agnes Scottis 10ft away. It's what it is, and it's good. Bring respectful attitudes and you'll meet the best people. Read more
