This Fabulous place had the most unique and esthetically GORGEOUS food. The courses were laid out so Beautifully and the... ingredients were unique and different, but worked so well. I got to be adventurous and try new things, and loved it! Spencer wasour waiter and he was attentive and the entire staff and service was wonderful. Everything was executed perfectly. The onlythings they could improve is the front staff, the girls gave me dirty looks and we're not very kind. I was a hostess way backwhen, and it's your job to be warm kind and smile. They were fake and I even tried to smile more and compliment them, which Iregret, because they were standoffish and it wasn't a pretty look. I wish they were kinder, it ruined the start of my experiencedining here and when I left. They are the first people you see and last people you see and it ruins the good efforts the rest ofthe staff makes. The food was phenomenal, the restaurant is gorgeous, and the drinks were great. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star... review was our server. He was just okay. He was nice but at this pricepoint, with such a beautiful restaurant and amazing food,I expected more refinement from the serving staff, not the diner-style service we received. The service wasn't so bad that Iwon't be back. I would still encourage anyone reading this review to go because the food is absolutely worth it. Read more

The last time I went to a restaurant with a tasting menu, I left feeling unsatisfied with the amount of food and the quality of... food for the price we paid. Market Restaurant + Bar has restored my faith in tasting menus and definitely has me looking forwardto the next time we come back! - PARKING - There's valet parking in the lot immediately in front of the restaurant. However,there is a side street if you go past the light that has some parking, and another lot past that, where other businesses wereclosed by the time we had come. Still, we avoided the limited time spaces just to be safe and parked in an unmarked spot. Wewalked over and got back to my car totally fine. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Staff was very friendly and pleasant throughout ourtime here, from the beginning as they opened the door for us, throughout the dinner service, and at the end once again guidingus out. Water was consistently refilled and they were very attentive. One of our party members was allergic to the amuse-bouche,so they made a separate one catered to his allergies which was very nice of them to do. They also refilled our bread basketwithout us saying anything, which may sound silly but I appreciated so much (their bread was so good!). Dimly-lit dining area,but not so dark where you can't see one another. Nicely spaced out tables so you don't feel cramped back to back with otherparties. - FOOD - Truly every dish was amazing - we tried each others' as well and were not disappointed in any of them! Due totheir daily changing menu, I won't go into super detail as they might not have the same items when you go, but somehighlights: - Kanpachi Sashimi - Sesame-Shrimp Crusted Alaskan Halibut - Braised Beef Short Ribs - Roasted StrawberryShortcake - OVERALL - An absolutely amazing experience that has me pinning Market Restaurant + Bar on the revisit list!
