I ordered through the Taco Bell app and asked to pick up the food at 7:30 pm inside the restaurant. At 7:11, I got a text saying... the order was ready. I arrived at the store right about 7:30 and there was nobody in line. An employee was at the counterremoving cups and lids from their packaging. The kitchen and drive-thru were packed with other employees in plain sight. I saweverybody was busy, so I figured I'd have to wait a few moments. I was promptly ignored for about 5 minutes by all those peoplein there without so much as a "we'll be with you shortly." Eventually the cup employee accidentally looked at me and had toacknowledge my presence at the counter. I told her I was picking up a mobile order. There was no sign of it. Another employeefinally came to see what was going on. I pulled up the confirmation number and my order on the Taco Bell app so I could showthem. One of the employees said she remembered filling that order and that a lady had come to pick it up earlier. So wait aminute...somebody else had my EXACT order at that exact store, down to a Nachos BellGrande and Taco Supreme with no tomatoes orsour cream, a Baja Blast, and a Power Menu Bowl? Seems like I'd be more likely to be struck by lightning twice after winning thelottery. To their credit, the employees apologized and one of them started making my order right away. So happy the Mexican Pizza is back! The line for the drive-thru was atrocious. However, the dinner was empty. I went in and... ordered my food, had great conversation with the staff, they helped me carry my big order out?and the car I would have beenbehind was still 8 cars vs 12 from the order squawk box.
