I have had food from this place many times in the past but this time the experience was worst. The lady on the counter was rude... with no smile, no greeting and no welcoming nature. I understand it is locally owned restaurant and not a giant food brand butit is an Indian restaurant and that lady did not portrayed Indian culture at all. The place is a nice small restaurant. The food is good, but they are popular for their lunch buffets rather than menu items. In... terms of customer service, the three times I went there, I noticed the lady at the cashier greets and is very polite to peoplewho were not brown, but for the customers like myself she was indifferent and rude. However, all the other servers I had in therestaurant were very polite and very friendly. For the only Indian restaurant I have come across in Denton, this place is goodif you are going for a buffet. The picture is the fried fish appetizer from the menu and the drink is a mango lassi. If you arein the Denton area and craving for some Indian food, this is a good spot. Read more

I haven't even been to the restaurant yet. I called to confirm if I could place a to go order over the phone or if I have to... order in person being that they are primarily a buffet restaurant. A male picked up and when I attempted to ask my question, theman cut me off and stated "we open at 5PM, not open yet". I saw their business hours and at the time of this call it was around4:49PM on a Sunday. I then told him I was aware of the hours and I just really wanted to know if I can place a to go order overthe phone. He proceeds to talk over me and at this point I could not understand what he was saying but he sounded frustrated andrepeated "open at 5", then hung up on me. I was speechless, tried calling back hoping to maybe get someone else to answer myquestion and someone just kept picking up and hanging up. Safe to say I will not be visiting. Really hurt how I was treated. Icould of been anyone and this man was just rude for no reason. Why even answer the phone? I hope they are more sincere in personbecause this was very concerning.
