My brother and I dropped by for wine and tapas and had a great experience! I really wanted to love this place and was expecting to be blown away with what I?ve heard about it. But I left dinner tonight... feeling a bit confused on the hype. The service was subpar (as many other reviewers state) and the food we ordered was average,in my opinion. The whipped goat cheese, croquetas, patatas bravas (essentially just potato wedges) and seafood paella were all atad disappointing/lacking flavor. The hangar steak was actually great! but a small portion. We decided we think we ordered thewrong menu items, and were sitting in a perhaps easily overlooked corner of the bar. I think if someone had taken the time torecommend some dishes for us, we would have been much more impressed. Judging from the huge crowd inside, this place mustnormally deliver a better experience. Excellent dinner service at this super popular place. We had a series of tapas from the extensive menu and a really good twist... on a Manhattan made with smoked sherry (????). The charcuterie and cheeses are excellent as well. We had the marinated olives,the burrata with apples and pomegranate, the Jamon croquettes, the meatballs, and the honey whipped goat cheese. We finishedwith the pistachio and pear crepes. All of it was really well seasoned and delicious. Our service was very good and it was apacked house, so cudos to the bartenders and servers for keeping up. We will definitely be back. Read more
