Overall a good experience. I tried their signature sugar steak. I like the sugar dry rub. The meat was cooked correctly. My... complaint, the ribeye was in the $50's, it was good, but not THAT good. Twice baked potato was good, so were the mashedpotatoes. The French onion soup wasn't my favorite. Grilled ceasar I would get again. We ordered the sizzling fruit pie a lamode for dessert. That was great. It came out in a fajita cast iron platter. The meal comes with bread and butter to start. Wefelt the atmosphere was nice. But the building and decor felt dated inside. The building is old so the dated feel that isn'tsurprising to me, but I felt the level of refinery didn't match the prices. Etc: $15 for my cocktail. The bathroom wasawkwardly positioned and narrow to get in. The waitress mentioned that the family still owns the business and that the buildingwas designed by a previous member of the family. I feel the staff did a good job. Overall not bad, but good, not great. Wouldn'tgo out of my way to go back, but if someone wanted to go I wouldn't snub it. 4 stars bc it seemed over priced, but it's worth atry. Read more

Got here around 5:15 pm Sunday night. I ordered the 16 oz NY Strip with the Famous Sugar Rub. Got the salad on the side with... Ranch and the Baked Potato. The salad was a bit small but definitely good. The Baked Potato was great, was like a light butterand sour cream on the potato. The steak crust was amazing and I see why it is so popular. The server was great as well, verystraight forward but also ahd personality if that made sense Read more

Wow! I can’t comment on their specialty sugar rub , but my god are the steak delicious! We both had NY strips, two different... temperature requests and both were perfect; oh, and the onion soup is well worth the up charge. But coke here for the martinis, holy heck they’re amazing. Our server, Ed, was so wonderful. Great recommendations and very attentive! Definitely come here, you’ll be very happy. Read more
