Good food and nice staff. Interior has an old school diner feel but was a little on the shabby side.
This is a favorite! The food is freshly prepared and it's out of this world good. The soups are quite good. Frankly, everyone... can find something they like and it will be tasty. The service is always excellent. The NY Deli News is outstanding and it's whyit's a go to place anytime of day for me, my family and friends. They also can package up meals to go which has been greatduring the pandemic. I highly recommend this restaurant! Read more

Always a great experience! Not a lot of delis in the Denver metro area, but luckily, NY Deli News is delicious and... consistent. Here’s what I ordered: - Pastrami on Rye (ordering the large will be plenty for lunch and a second meal later) -Side of Fries, crispy (doesn’t come with meal) - 7 layer chocolate cake (very rich, very moist, very good!) - Coffee Ithoroughly enjoy coming to NY Deli News. My only issue is the price. A large sandwich can easily approach $18-$20, and thatdoesn’t include fries. A few tips: - order a side of Russian dressing for your sandwich - be sure to ask for pickles or theywon’t bring them out to the table - coffee is a little watered down - chocolate cake is very rich and obviously huge, easilycan be shared across the table Finally, the staff are friendly and work very hard. Now, my four star rating hits on two majoritems that I must get off my chest: 1. Price is pretty high for a deli. I’ve been to plenty of delicatessens and this seems tobe the highest I’ve ever seen. 2. The pastrami, for big it is, is still uncommonly small. Classic sandwiches like this need toeasily be overflowing with meat. This is a small portion, especially for the price youre paying. On the outside of the restaurant it says leaving Denver and entering New York, when in actuality, you're leaving the modern era... and going back in time except with all the wear of being there for however long. This place is way overdue for an upgrade. Theservice was good and food just okay. They have similar prices to other delis in the area but cannot live up to their quality. Weordered lox platter and steak and eggs. I would not suggest this place as a foodie. If you want nostalgia, more like a museumexperience this is your spot. But expect museum food. Read more
