It?s easy to see why Syrup is a popular place to go for breakfast. They have a wide variety of options for everyone, and there?s... plenty of free parking in the lot next to the public market. Their most popular dishes are the Nutella stuffed French toast andchicken and waffles, which are great for people wanting a heavy & sweet breakfast. A good compromise and sharing complement isthe combo of The Garden Omelet and The Remedy Classic. The Garden Omelet can be a little dry, and felt like it could be improvedby the vegetables inside being cooked a little longer or adding a sauce. The Remedy was very liquid and had extra sauce. Byputting The Remedy on top of the omelette, it was a perfect breakfast. The Remedy ($15) includes diced potatoes topped withchorizo, cheddar cheese, onion, roasted red pepper, avocado, 2 eggs any style (we requested over easy but they were moreover-medium), and grilled jalapeño, smothered in pork green chili. The Brooklyn Omelet ($16) sounded good, with their awardwinning corned beef hash, but since we already had meat in The Remedy we went with The Garden. The Garden Omelet ($14) comeswith asparagus, mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, squash (I didn?t see any), and feta, and you can pay extra for a side ofberries instead of the tater tots. Read more

We were highly disappointed with this place, as with service as with food. I wasn?t given an opportunity to tell ? no ice? in my... water, cappuccino was served in a dirty cup. I have ate here once. Service was fantastic. Very attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the Chicken and waffles for... breakfast with the addition of 2 eggs over easy to place on top of the stack. The food in one work was "FANTASTIC"! Veryflavorful. They provide a spicy syrup and a honey mustard for the chicken. I loved every bite and wished I had 2 stomachs so Icould eat more. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.
