Perfect place for a few days getaway. We come here at least twice a year and love the location. Nice having restaurant on site... and food is pretty good. Love having Fogerty Creek Park and beach below us. Can't beat the view. Already ready to go back. Onlywish they had some rooms with kitchenettes. Read more

This place was great! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed staying here. The location was really... nice, one way was the cute shops in Lincoln City, and the other way was good views in Depoe Bay and Newport. My wife and I bothwork in a hotel, so we went in with an idea of what to expect, and the staff nailed it Read more

Our room was ocean view and amazing. The room was fairly clean, but there were some spots that could have used some extra... attention. The fireplace was a nice addition and was well used by my elderly pup. Beware the water pressure is severely lacking. Read more

Surfrider has been a hotel we have frequented over the years. They have made some upgrades, but the cleanliness of the rooms has... gone down. It doesn't appear they are mowing and tending to things as much as they used to. The firepit was gone, the workoutroom and game room were closed. The little details were not tended to. The restaurant quality and flavor were not as good. Thestaff was friendly and the location is wonderful as always. Lots of small issues, and big prices for what we got... We will giveit another chance to improve, as we love this location, but think twice if you are expecting something nice currently. Read more

First, this is not a "resort". It's a typical run down beach hotel. Don't let the pictures online fool you!!! These are... professionally staged photos and are not a true representation of the rooms or the pool. The room: had an old musty smell, therewas hair all over the floor and hair all over in the bathroom. The baseboards had a lot of dust and the fan in the bathroomneeded a serious cleaning. Not that I use a hair dryer but there was so much fuzz and dust in it. There is visible rust on manymetal fixtures and the sink and toilet are great for people 5 ft or under. The beds sat on untreated plywood and wasn't even areal bed frame. My bad for not noticing that there was no air conditioning and it was muggy. Our room did over look the beachwhich was very nice but the deck was sketchy and really needs to be replaced. The pool looks pretty big and luxurious in thephotos online. Wrong. Small little pool housed in a sweat box that looks like a greenhouse. The pros. The staff was nice, therewas beach access from the hotel and the view from the room. That's about it.... I ended up spending over 600 for a 2 queen bedroom for 2 nights. It's seriously a 99.00 a night hotel. Not only did I get catfished by the photos but I got ripped off. Read more
